Kemps salutes local family farmers.
Eight years after the Civil War, Jacob Jereczek started a little dairy farm in western Wisconsin, feeding and milking the cows by hand. Nowadays, Ken Jereczek and his two sons use their robotic feeders to make sure each calf on the Jereczek Homestead Dairy gets the perfect amount of food, so they don’t have to worry about over- or underfeeding.
Technology sure has evolved over the years, but to Ken, who still lives in the same house Jacob built in 1880, there’s one thing that’s never changed. “It’s always been about the family.” Learn more about the Jereczek Family.
