Kemps Seeks Joe and Teresa Mauer’s Biggest Fan’ily in Minnesota

New Facebook contest gives winning family a behind-the-scenes  look at the Mauer’s latest commercial shoot and an ice cream social with Joe and Teresa

ST.PAUL, Minn. (March 16, 2011) – Kemps is celebrating their second year of partnering with Joe and Teresa Mauer by kicking off the search to find the ultimate Mauer Fan’ily. The winning family, via Kemps’ Facebook contest, will receive the ultimate prize – a chance to meet and chat with Joe and Teresa over a bowl of ice cream at their Kemps commercial shoot on April 11.

To enter, families will visit the Kemps’ Facebook page and submit a photo with a caption to explain why their family is the biggest Mauer Fan’ily. From holiday cards with the whole family in Mauer jerseys, to a basement decked out in Mauer fan memorabilia, Kemps wants to see how Minnesota families show their support for the All-Star Joe Mauer.

 Entries will be accepted until April 3, with Teresa Mauer selecting the winning family on April 7. The winning family will be offered the opportunity to meet Joe and Teresa at their Kemps commercial shoot on April 11. In addition to meeting the Mauers, the family will take home photographs with the Mauers and autographed merchandise.

“Our partnership with Kemps continues to provide a fun opportunity to work with a local company whose products I grew up on,” said (Joe) Mauer. “I am really looking forward to meeting the biggest Mauer Fan’ily out there.”

Joe and Teresa Mauer announced their partnership with Kemps last year, creating one of the most talked about campaigns in the Twin Cities.
