Golden Egg Nog Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 5 very ripe bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup Kemps Golden EggNog
  • 1 cup plus 2 tbls. oil
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Break bananas into small pieces and mix with eggs, Kemps Golden EggNog and oil.
  2. Sift together dry ingredients and add banana mixture. Blend until just incorporated.
  3. Pour mixture into greased 9 inch loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

Makes 1 loaf

Per serving: 404 calories; 4.3 grams protein; 21.0 grams fat; 3.1 grams saturated fat; 51.7 grams carbohydrates; 234.2 milligrams sodium; 19.4 milligrams calcium; 2.0 grams fiber

The recipe calls for 1 cup plus 2Tbls oil, this must be a typo. The bread is oily and does not rise. Even worse,the taste and texture. I would not recommend this recipe.
